Corrections & removal requests

Accuracy matters, and so does the dignity of the people behind every case. If anything we have published — on this site, in a video, or in a podcast episode — is inaccurate, out of date, or causing harm, we want to hear from you.

Request a correction

Email corrections@keptevidence.com with the page or video link and a description of the issue. Where possible, include a source we can verify against. We aim to review every documented correction promptly. When we correct a factual error we say so: on the case page, and for a video, in a pinned comment and the description, with the episode itself re-edited where the error is material.

Family members

If you are a relative of a victim and have a concern about how a case is presented — including a request to remove a dramatized account or adjust details — please contact us at the address above. We will respond.

If you appear in an episode

Some episodes include official recordings released under public-records laws. If you appear in one — as a witness, a bystander, or a person who was questioned or charged — you can ask us to blur, edit, or remove that material. We act on these requests for anyone who was not convicted in the case, and we review every other request individually. We never ask for payment and never will.

What we can and can’t change

We can correct factual errors, update outcomes, refine wording, and remove or revise dramatized sections. We generally cannot remove accurately reported facts that are part of the public record (court outcomes, published news reporting), but we will always review the specific request.

Presumption of innocence

Anyone described here as charged or suspected is presumed innocent unless and until convicted. Where a case is still before the courts, we say so and date the information.
